With little to no support system, it's very difficult for "aging out" orphans to support themselves. Touched by Fire Angels will provide career building information and direction in selecting a profession, through our one-on-one mentoring program, to minimize the additional hardships the "aging out" orphans will experience.

Currently, we are forming a team of Christian firefighters, police officers, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, teachers, nurses, doctors, lifeguards, and professional athletes who would be willing to take an "aging out" orphan into their workplace to explain their job responsibilities and how to become a successful member in these professions.

We are seeking Christian mentors, in these professions, who want to help "aging out" orphans maximize their potential. We are asking that the mentor volunteer three hours a month with an orphan and be available for some telephone discussions when questions or problems arise. During the three hours together, we would like for the professional mentor to pray with their orphan, to role model an exemplary Christian lifestyle, and to accompany them into their workplace.
