Touched by Fire Angels, Inc. will be organizing a softball tournament, May 12, 2012, to raise money for 4 Kids of South Florida. We will be promoting the softball tournament to Churches, Christ-centered organizations, and local softball teams from the tri-county area, and possibly outside this area, to participate in the fundraiser. It will be a one day family event with lots of fun, fellowship, and hope.

4 Kids of South Florida helps families learn:

1) more about adoption

2) about children who are waiting

3) how to adopt from the foster care system 

4) meaningful ways they can support adoptive families.

By pooling our resources and prayers, we can have a mighty impact on boys and girls who are overwhelmed by the devastating belief that no one wants them. I think that it is safe to state, that every child deserves a safe, loving place to call home.

This year, the event will have a softball division for competitive men’s, competitive co-ed, and Church/Recreation divisions. We are, also, planning to have activities for all ages.

There are more than 127,000 legal orphans in America’s foster care system today. Another amazing statistic is that there are approximately 7000 orphans in the State of Florida and approximately 13,000 Churches.

If the Lord is leading you to consider adopting one of these children or if adoption is not in your heart right now, we could still use your prayers and support to help these forgotten orphans. Please join us. I promise that you will be rewarded and enriched by the experience.
